2 no HMO Properties

This project included the demolition of an existing bungalow, followed by the construction of two three-storey HMO townhouses. The demolition of the existing bungalow included disconnecting all services. Our team then redesigned the existing foul waste system and installed new services to accommodate the two new properties.

The build was finished to accommodate multi-occupancies with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Both homes were finished to a high standard, featuring vaulted ceilings on the third floor, double-kite-winded staircases connecting all floors, bay windows, and an open-plan kitchen with bifold doors leading to the garden. Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems installed in both properties ensured they were energy efficient.

Logistically the site was located on a busy main street with limited storage and access; during our time on site, we were heavily focused on waste management, managing material deliveries and even introduced a temporary footpath to minimise obstruction to the nearby school.
