Live Working Environment

Our team was appointed to construct a new 180 sq/m extension to accommodate the school’s need for a larger dining hall. The scheme was connected to their existing canteen, which remained live throughout the duration of works; therefore, many factors were introduced to efficiently isolate the area whilst posing no restriction for the occupiers.

The scheme was divided into two phases. Phase 1 was carried out during the 2022 summer holidays to deliver the extensive sub-level works, including all enabling works, civil engineering and groundworks. This was followed by Phase 2, which involved the general construction of the new space.

A new timber roof
Windows
Internal doors
Ceilings, partitions
Plaster
New vinyl flooring
CCTV
An integrated fire alarm system
Decoration.
